It can be tough to face all the challenges of life. That’s why the men at Faith Alive meet for Saturday Breakfast/Bible studies and intentional discipleship-to encourage men to sharpen each other like iron sharpens iron. Get involved and face life’s challenges with God with these guys by your side. The men’s ministry also offers men the potential to get involved in tangible ways of serving the church and others.

God is working in the hearts of our men by bringing them together, so spiritual growth and maturity can happen. First, for our love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and second, for us to bring more men closer together through various activities, so they also can experience this same love relationship in their lives.

On the second Saturday of each month (September – April) the men gather at the church for a hearty breakfast consisting of eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fires, muffins, orange juice and coffee. The breakfast meeting concludes with a spiritual feeding time consisting of short bible study or DVD, testimonies and prayer. This has been a great time for the brothers to bring guests because of the informal time of fellowshipping.

In 2010, a fishing trip is again being planned for August 13-15th at Black lake in Hammond, New York. This trip is not only for the man who like to catch fish, but also for those who want to relax while fishing for men. The group consists of men from various backgrounds and ages. It is guaranteed, that each man will have a great time while fishing, fellowshipping, eating and sharing about the fish that got away
