The church began meeting in various members’ homes, and experienced growth which led them to the town fire hall, and eventually the Fenner Mill building in Wind Gap. In 2013, the church purchased the historic Trinity Lutheran Church, where they currently meet. Eventually, the church plans to build in Plainfield Township, on ten acres located along Mack Road.
In 1988, the church called the Rev. Larry Gasteiger to be its pastor, a position he held for over twenty years, until his retirement in 2010. In 2011, the Rev. Matthew Whistler was called to be the pastor of the church, and the ministry of Faith Alive continues on for the glory of God.
